Super Cylinder Surface Polishing

Our final stage of roller manufacture may require the rubber-covered cylinders and sleeves to be super polished.

We can achieve a variety of RA surface readings depending on customer requirements.

Many specialised rubbers can achieve super smooth finishes as low as 0.065 microns this will help to improve laydown and density of ink transfer on fine micro substrates.

The process will also remove any surface imperfections which is necessary for the production of holograms. As well as rubber we can polish Steel, chrome, and ceramic anilox cylinders. The polishing can also be set to evenly roughen the surface of the cylinder to provide more traction/pull. We are able to polish cylinders up to 14 Inch in diameter and lengths of 2.5 meters
